About the farm
The Oasis is nestled in the Hudson Valley, just 50 miles north of New York City in the beautiful town of Warwick. With an expansive green field, a picturesque pond, and the backdrop of a red antique barn, the property is the perfect spot to host your farm wedding or elopement. On top of the large amount of space, there is a 1.5 acre hop field that creates a dramatic background in season, as well as berry patches, rolling dirt roads, and mountain views.
The Oasis also features a custom built disc golf course, which adds a unique character to the grounds, and will one day hold an onsite brew house as well. Owner, Dan Doyle, is committed to seeing the farm utilized to be a gathering space bringing community, good times, and nature together.
In September of 2020, The Oasis hosted its first outdoor farm wedding. A beautiful lawn adjacent to a
pond served as a wonderful location for the wedding ceremony. Gathering areas for cocktail hours were
created in gorgeous manicured wooded settings. The reception was held in a spectacular tent erected
in a meadow overlooking the pond. In October of 2020, a “micro-wedding” ceremony took place in the
same setting for a couple and a few special guests. The long-term plan is to build a 3,000 square-foot
pavilion overlooking the pond to serve as the hub for wedding ceremonies and receptions and other
large gatherings of various kinds.
In order to host educational workshops and seminars on a variety of topics, or to provide private space
for small intimate groups, or for the bride and groom and their wedding party, a Gathering
Cabin will be built on-site that can be rented by the hour, day, night, or weekend. This will allow guests
at The Oasis to be close to the action and yet be able to easily retreat to their own private oasis.
